The 12th Step
Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these Steps, we tried to carry this message to alcoholics, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.
Some of the Helpline’s callers require longer conversations than the Helpline Volunteer can accommodate. For these cases, 12th Step Volunteers are contacted to assist. The Helpline Volunteer on “duty” reaches out to someone from our list to see if they would be interested in contacting the caller for further assistance.
